Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wheelstherapy mobile application (the "App"), operated by Wheelstherapy ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Wheelstherapy is a small community app for driving enthusiasts: members discover curated routes, organise and join drives, and see each other on the map during live drives. The App is provided free of charge and is currently in early access — features may change, break, or be removed at any time.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and old enough to hold a driving licence to take part in drives as a driver. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. One account per person. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

3. Driving and Safety — Important

You are solely responsible for your driving. The App is a social and navigation aid, not an invitation to drive dangerously. When taking part in any drive or using navigation:

• Always obey all applicable traffic laws, speed limits, and road signage.
• Never interact with the App while driving — set up navigation before you set off, and let passengers handle the phone.
• Drive within your abilities and adapt to road, weather, and traffic conditions.
• You participate in drives at your own risk. Wheelstherapy does not organise, supervise, or control the driving behaviour of any member.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wheelstherapy is not liable for accidents, traffic violations, injuries, damage, or losses arising from your driving or your participation in drives organised through the App. Routes are suggestions only; road conditions may differ from what the App shows.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App to promote or coordinate illegal driving activity (street racing, dangerous stunts on public roads).
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members, or post content that is unlawful, hateful, or infringes anyone's rights.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its infrastructure, or other members' data.
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App — photos, routes, drives, and profile information. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share it within the App so the service can function (e.g. showing your routes and photos to other members). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where content has been shared with others and they have retained it (e.g. a route others have saved).

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, endanger other members, or misuse the service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Sections 3, 5 (for retained content), 7, and 8 survive termination.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that map and route data will be accurate or up to date. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under Belgian and EU consumer protection law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
